A famous château nestled among the region’s many vineyards. Originally, the estate cultivated vineyards on around fifty hectares. The chateau was built in the late 1800s in the neo-classical style. However, the exterior combines a few elements from prior ages.

The structure is encircled on the short sides by turrets in the medieval Gothic style, with tall narrow apertures evocative of battlements. The turrets also received ogival and quatrefoil-shaped windows.

I’m not sure how long the castle has been abandoned, but the exterior is in bad shape. Some pieces of the roof have fallen, hastening the process.
